I had an excellent writing month in July, including positive progress on both of my current large projects. The challenge now is maintaining the momentum.
June was a busy month, but I got more writing done than I realized. Unfortunately, none of it was progress on my two larger projects.
I was busy during May. Just not with The Perfect Daughter, which is what I “should” have been working on. Despite that, I have a lot to look forward to in June.
While I do not write full-time or as my primary source of income, I still put a considerable amount of time into writing every week. My word counts and writing speed reflect this.
Yes, “Jennie St. Thomas” is a pen name, and it’s one I selected with care.
Although April was a rough month and I’m frustrated at missing my overall word count goal, it was not a bad month. And I’m coming out of it with a plan and a lot of reason to expect that I’ll be able to hit my goals for May.

I reached two big milestones during March 2025, and they’ve combined to give me a boost when it comes to my writing work.
While February started out strong, it didn’t stay that way. In March, I’m giving myself an incentive and watching for a pattern.
