Whitewood

One summer changed her life forever.

For the most part, Heather enjoys her job. But she also enjoys getting away from it, which sometimes proves difficult, particularly during tax season. This summer, she’s chosen to visit a local park to draw a striking tree that she’s noticed. But she’ll end up finding a lot more than that.

“Whitewood” is a short story of about 5,300 words. It straddles the line between literary fiction and contemporary romance.
