While February started out strong, it didn’t stay that way. In March, I’m giving myself an incentive and watching for a pattern.
Oh, wow. Did I ever drop the ball this month. But I have goals and a plan for February.
December was my best month of 2024 in terms of word count. Now I just need to keep the momentum going into 2025 as I recover from the holidays and some minor surgery.
I’m bummed that I missed my goal for the month, but I was steady about what I already had going. So all is not lost.
After a really strong September, things got a little weird during October. But I’m back up to my normal writing pace now.
If I had to give a one-sentence evaluation of my writing during August 2024, I think I’d say something along the lines of, “you win some, you lose some.” But it hasn’t been enough to discourage me; rather, it has given me a reason to keep my momentum going.
